Why it's dumb & done

Three ingredients you probably already have, dumped in the crock pot in the morning. Shred with two forks at dinnertime and you're done.

Why kids will like it

It tastes like ranch, which is basically every kid's favorite food group. Serve it on slider buns or over rice and let them add cheese on top.

The recipe

You'll need

  • 2 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (thawed)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 8 oz cream cheese, cubed

Do this

  1. Put chicken in the crock pot and sprinkle the ranch seasoning over it.
  2. Cook on low 6 hours or high 3–4 hours.
  3. Shred the chicken in the pot with two forks, add the cream cheese, and stir until melted and creamy.
  4. Serve on buns, over rice, or in baked potatoes.
