One-Pot Chicken Alfredo

dumb and done meals

One pot6 ingredients30 min
Creamy chicken alfredo pasta

Why it's dumb & done

No separate pot for the noodles and no jarred sauce needed. Everything cooks together in one pot.

Why kids will like it

Creamy, cheesy noodles are a guaranteed clean plate. Add steamed broccoli on the side if you want something green.

The recipe

You'll need

  • 1 lb boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne, uncooked
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan

Do this

  1. Melt butter in a large pot and cook the chicken until no longer pink.
  2. Add the broth and cream and bring to a boil.
  3. Add the pasta, lower the heat, and simmer 12–15 minutes, stirring often, until tender.
  4. Stir in the Parmesan until creamy.
