Why it's dumb & done

One pan, six ingredients, 25 minutes. Everything roasts together, so cleanup is just the pan.

Why kids will like it

Sausage and crispy potatoes are kid favorites, and everything is bite-sized for dipping in ketchup or ranch. Picky eaters can pick around the green beans.

The recipe

You'll need

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled
  • 1 package (14 oz) smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 2 cups green beans
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

Do this

  1. Heat oven to 400°F.
  2. Toss the potatoes with half the oil and seasoning on a sheet pan. Roast 10 minutes.
  3. Add the sausage, green beans, shrimp and the rest of the oil and seasoning. Toss.
  4. Roast 10–12 minutes, until the shrimp are pink.
