14th Annual Bay St. Louis Turkey Trot 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup will begin at the Train Depot from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. for the 5K and the 1 Mile.
Awards for the 5k go to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female, First Overall Masters Male and Female, and to the top three finishers in the age groups. (5 yr. increments)

The 14th Annual Turkey Trot will be held in downtown Bay St. Louis to benefit the charity of your choice! The Turkey Trot will consist of a 5K CERTIFIED ROUTE and a 1-mile Fun Run. The race begins at 8 a.m. at the Bay St. Louis Train Depot, trotting through Old Town Bay Saint Louis, reaching the beautiful Beach Boulevard & being completely stuffed for the finish back at the Depot!

Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival
Date: Starting November 29, 2025 - December 31, 2025
About: Beginning in 2015, a vision of a coastal holiday winter festival came about from The City of Gulfport’s Department of Leisure Service along with Council President Rusty Walker. Island View Casino & Resort’s owners loved the idea and provided sponsorship to realize this vision. The show began as just light displays! Over the years, the show has expanded into Mississippi’s Largest Christmas Light Show, with over 1.5 million lights throughout 40 acres in Jones Park. Today, visitors can ride carnival rides, hop on a train at the Train Station, or enjoy the “Dancing Trees” Show. Visitors can even stroll through Santa’s Village to see working elves, Santa’s Headquarters, and visit Santa Claus! Each year the show grows, and it brings new surprises!
Tickets go on sale on November 1, 2025.
General Admission: $15-$20
Children 4-12 years: $5
Children 3 years and under: Free
Santa will be in Santa’s Village from 6 pm – 9 pm every night the show is open except Christmas Day. Note: Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival is closed on Christmas Eve.
No smoking or outside food and drink allowed. Pets are welcome if leashed and cleaned up after.

Christmas in the Bay
Date: November 30

About: The event kicks off with a parade starting at the intersection of State Street and 2nd Street. It showcases decorated golf carts, lively marching groups, and Santa Claus himself! The parade winds through the decorated streets of Old Town Bay St Louis and concludes at the Historic Train Depot. At the Train Depot, the holiday fun continues with Santa leading the lighting of the Christmas tree, followed by a special Christmas movie on the depot grounds. “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, The Musical”

About: The Herdman's are the worst kids in the history of the world - so when they crash Sunday School and demand parts in the Christmas Pageant, the whole town panics. There's not supposed to be biting or cigar smoking in Bethlehem, and while these kids have never even heard the Christmas story, they definitely have rewrites! Soon, everyone is calling for the reluctant directory, Grace Bradley, to cancel the whole thing. It's up to the Bradley's and the Reverend to help their community see the Christmas story and the Herdman kids through new eyes in this buoyant musical adaptation of the funny and touching holiday classic.

About: Sail aboard a Biloxi Schooner for the Christmas on the Water Boat Parade on Saturday, December 6th. Tickets are $50.00 adults and $30 children (3-12). The schooner will depart the Schooner Pier Complex at 367 Beach Blvd., Biloxi at 4:30 p.m. to rendezvous with the parade lineup at Channel Marker #5 south of the Biloxi Lighthouse. Wreath Laying Ceremony hosted by AFSA Chapter 652 Keesler AFB

About: ARRIVE EARLY FOR PARKING! This event usually has the biggest turn out and folks come from across the community. Parking fills up extremely quick. Since the ceremony will be taking place in the field attendees will typically utilize VA parking lots for additional parking as you will not be able to park along the field as you can during the prep. This event is not as organized for the volunteers/participants. I will message in the group chat where I will be, but I encourage you to bring family and friends as a group to come to lay the wreaths. There will be an official ceremony to start at 11 with a couple of speakers and they will release attendees to grab wreaths from the middle area and begin laying them throughout the cemetery. The officials will announce a specific area in the cemetery that wreaths will not be laid as those sections will be reserved for the National Wreaths Across America Event.

Gingerbread House Family Decorating Workshop

About: Kick off the holiday season with creativity, cocoa, and family fun! During this hands-on workshop, families will decorate their own gingerbread house*no baking or cleanup required. We provide everything: a pre-assembled house, frosting, and plenty of candy for decorating. With seasonal music, cookies, and hot chocolate, it*s a joyful afternoon of holiday magic! Space is limited. Registration is required. $35 nonmembers / $30 members per family. (Note: Each family will be provided with one gingerbread house)
LaPointe-Krebs Christmas

About: Celebrate a Colonial Christmas at LaPointe-Krebs on Sunday, December 21 from noon until 4 p.m. This exciting event comes complete with a visit from Santa Claus, entertainment by “Elvis”, homemade jambalaya and beignets, an ugly sweater pet contest, chili contest and tasting, last minute shopping with vendors and MORE! This is one event set on Krebs Lake that you do not want to miss!

ELF Boot Camp (Pre-K to 2nd Grade)

About: When school's out - we play! We'll countdown the big day by learning what it takes to be Santa's elf! Build a gingerbread house, play reindeer games, make Christmas cards and more! $40 per day, per child. Bring your own lunch and snacks. Materials provided. Dismissal at noon, Christmas Eve.
