The teal pumpkin project

Have you heard of the Teal Pumpkin Project?

1 in 13 kids are affected by food allergies and this amazing campaign was created by FARE to help raise awareness, as well as provide a more inclusive and safer Halloween for all trick-or-treaters by giving out non-candy trinkets!

By placing a teal pumpkin at your door or even printing a teal pumpkin sign to hang, you are letting trick-or-treaters know that in addition to candy, you’ll have non-food treats available in a separate bowl. These items can be anything like stickers, bubbles, glow sticks, pencils, stamps, spider rings, etc.

This is such an amazing project for families with food allergies, food intolerances and sensitivities, or other conditions.

Halloween is just around the corner and we have our teal pumpkin out! How about you?
