Summer on the Mississippi Gulf Coast is almost here — and if you’re anything like me, you’re already wondering how to keep the kids busy, active, learning, and off their screens (at least a little 😉).

That’s why I’m so excited to share The Gulf Coast Mom Summer Camp Guide 2026! I’ve rounded up the best summer camps across Biloxi, Gulfport, Ocean Springs, D’Iberville, Long Beach, Pass Christian, and Bay St. Louis to make planning your summer so much easier. Whether your child loves sports, art, STEM, church camp, outdoor adventures, or hands-on creative fun, there’s something here for every age and interest — from littles to teens.

This guide is designed with local moms in mind. You’ll find day camps, specialty programs, budget-friendly options, and full-day camps for working parents — all in one convenient place. Our goal? To help you build a summer your kids will remember while keeping your sanity intact.

GENERAL SUMMER FUN

Lynn Meadows Discover Center Summer Camps - GULFPORT

  • Registration for the 2026 Summer Camps will open very soon! Summer camp begins May 26!

  • Full-Day Camp:  9am to 4pm $225 per week ($202.50 with members 10% discount)

  • Ages: 3 -14 years old

  • Extended Care Rates: 7:30-9am – $25 per week / 4-5:30pm – $25 per week AM & PM extended care – $50 per week

  • Registration includes: supplies for activities, 2 snacks, lunch, & standard daily museum admission. Each camper will get to cool off at our Seagull Splash splash pad on Wednesdays and enjoy a freeze pop on Fridays.

    Make a splash in this magical musical theatre experience featuring Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR. This camp brings the beloved story of Ariel, Sebastian, Flounder, and friends to life through music, movement, and imaginative storytelling. Young performers will build confidence, stage skills, and friendships as they journey under the sea and beyond, working together to create a fully-staged production.

The Energy Club in Long Beach: KidFit Summer Camp - LONG BEACH

  • June 1 to July 24. 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

Kroc Center Summer Camps- BILOXI 

  • Camp Kroc is a unique opportunity to learn new life skills, and a place to make new friends. For parents, Day Camp does more than just provide peace of mind that your children are well cared for, it also provides assurance that your children continue to develop their talents and abilities during the summer months. Motivated by God's love, our program strives to develop the whole child-within their environment-to help them grow physically, mentally and socially.
    AGES 5– 12 - (A 5-year-old must turn 5 on or before the first day of camp.)
    Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Summer Camp is an 8-week commitment (you must pay for all eight weeks).

  • A credit/debit card must be held on file to be charged weekly during summer camp.

  • Includes two snacks every day (Child must bring sack lunch)

  • Kroc Camp Registration form and Summer Camp Additional Forms must be completed before your child can attend summer camp.

  • A non-refundable registration fee of $150 will be due before camp begins.

  • Registration fee includes a Kroc Camp T-shirt and covers all camp field trip-related expenses.

  • Campers enjoy swimming, indoor & outdoor games, music, arts & crafts, group games, sports, and other fun activities.

  • Spots are limited by age groups. 

Kroc Summer Camp is Mon through Fri, 7 AM to 6 PM, excluding designated holidays. There is a $150 per child, non-refundable registration fee which covers the camp t-shirt & all field trip fees. The registration fee must be paid online. Children may not attend camp until the registration fee is paid & the required paperwork has been turned in. The camp fee is $125 per week and there is a limited number of children that can register. There are no partial week payments & no refunds issued due to absenteeism.

YMCA SUMMER CAMPS - OCEAN SPRINGS / VANCLEAVE

  • : Our camp locations offer full time day camps during summer break from school. All summer camps follow a 6:00am to 6:00pm schedule. Locations include Vancleave YMCA at Vancleave UMC, Taconi YMCA in Ocean Springs on Magnolia Ave, and Back Bay YMCA in Biloxi on St, Mary Blvd.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Gulf Coast

  • If you’re already planning ahead for summer, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Gulf Coast have you covered. Their Summer of Innovation 2026 camp program is designed to keep kids learning, exploring, and having fun all season long.

  • Children ages 5 to 16  years old are eligible to participate.  All campers must meet the Mississippi State Department of Education requirements to receive visual impairment services.  Sea and Sun Camp accepts applications regardless of race, color, religion, sex or national origin for participation. For children to interact with their visually impaired peers and allow every child to participate in every activity. To increase self-esteem, create smiles and provide a weekend of life's beautiful experiences.

Saint Stanislaus Rock Camps & Events – Mississippi Gulf Coast

Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum Sea-n-Sail Adventure Camp

  • Come Join the Fun at the Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum’s  Sea-n-Sail Adventure Camp. Experience the History and Heritage of the Mississippi Gulf Coast through Sailing Trips, Fishing, Maritime Crafts, and Seafood Industry Field Trips.

  • ​Purpose of the Camp – The history and heritage of the Mississippi Gulf Coast extends back to the arrival of the French over 300 years ago.  The Sea-n-Sail Adventure Camp is a day camp that is designed to bring about a greater awareness of our original history and maritime heritage through a variety of fun and educational activities.  The camp is offered by the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum of Biloxi, Inc., and is open to 6-12 year old students.  The Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum, 115 1st Street, Biloxi, will serve as the base for all camp activities.

  • Camp Structure – The Sea-n-Sail Adventure Camp consists of a week of activities.  Seven sessions will be held during the summer.  Daily activities will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m.  Campers will be grouped according to age:  6-8 and 9-12 years old.  Camp staff for each group will include an instructor and two (2) teaching assistants who are CPR/First Aid certified.

  • Daily Activities – All daily camp activities will originate at the museum.  Campers will be transported by bus to and from all fields of activity.  Individual activities will range from one to four hours in duration.  Camp activities include a variety of unique hands-on experiences which will make regional history and heritage come alive.  The camp will begin with a welcome orientation on Monday morning.  At this time, campers will meet staff members and be divided into groups.  Campers must provide their own lunch and snacks.  At times, lunch will be at a field trip or on board one of the schooners.

Long Beach Yacht Club Sailing Camp - LONG BEACH

  • The Long Beach Yacht Club Summer Sailing Program is a six-week experience for youth ages 5 to 18. Our program welcomes all skill levels, from first-time sailors to advanced racers. Classes are held Monday through Friday, with a focus on fun, safety, and skill development. We offer a variety of classes including Sea Otters, Sabot Novice, Returning Novice, Intro to Race, Sabot Race Team and Double-Handed Development. Advanced sailors can also join our high-performance 29er Race Team or the C420 class. Sailors learn rigging, boat handling, racing tactics, and teamwork. The program is based out of our waterfront facility in Alamitos Bay.

Swamp and Sea Exploration Camp - Bay St. Louis

  • Info: The Swamp and Sea Exploration Camp is a week long camp with eight sessions beginning at 101 Central Ave. Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi 39520. Each four week session is the same. Daily arrival begins at 8:00 A.M. with camp being in session from 9:00 - 4:00 P.M. Parents have until 5:00 P.M. to pick up campers, and camp is five days in duration Monday through Friday. 

The Swamp and Sea Exploration Camp Sessions are as follows, and we only allow up to 28 campers a week. The small group learning cultivates a fun learning environment.

IMMS Dolphin and Stingray Adventure Camp

  • The Dolphin and Stingray Adventure Camp is our ultimate job shadow at IMMS and Ocean Adventures Marine Park. It is an immersive week-long day camp, in which your child can step into the rubber boots of a marine scientist – and experience the world of our dolphins, sea lions, rays, sharks, and other animals who live here at IMMS and Ocean Adventures. Your child will participate in hands-on learning opportunities designed to teach them about marine mammal, tropical bird, sharks, sting rays, and sea turtle biology and conservation. Students will even meet our resident dolphins, sea lions, birds, and rays!

Along the way, students will build a deeper connection to the coast and be inspired to become stewards who help preserve and protect these vital ecosystems for the future. Students will gain the certification of Student Naturalist upon completion of the camp.

2026 GRITS STEM Summer Camp

Open to high school juniors and seniors!

FREE EVENT | During this hands on week, students will build real world skills used in coastal science and restoration projects, including living shoreline construction. Participants will gain experience in boat driving and trailering, drone operations, RTK GPS technology, plant identification, soldering, wave energy measurement, and more. Campers will also enjoy a boat trip to the Mississippi barrier islands and learn about exciting STEM career pathways from professionals in the field.

GRITS is an incredible opportunity for students to develop practical skills, explore STEM careers, and earn a certificate that will strengthen resume and college applications.

  • FANS Summer Training Camp returns for Summer 2026 from June 1 through July 17 and is open to kids ages 5 to 13. Held Monday through Friday at Our Lady of Fatima Elementary in Biloxi, campers can be dropped off as early as 6:45 am and picked up by 5:15 pm. This high energy camp focuses on agility, fitness, nutrition, and strength through activities like fitness training for all sports, martial arts, strength and speed conditioning, world championship dodgeball tournaments, superstar contests, P.E. and sports related games, plus weekly field trips to the mall and trampoline park. Weekly rates are $149 for one camper, $249 for two, $349 for three, and $399 for four, with multi child discounts available for campers in the same family. Families only pay for the weeks attended, and a $150 registration fee secures your camper’s spot for the summer. Gulf Coast Exposure Camp (Softball)

  • Info: The Gulf Coast Exposure Camp will be a 2 day camp staffed with College Coaches across the softball ranks. The Camp will highlight both defensive and offensive drills including live game situations.  

  • Day 1 will feature a full day of exposure type drills and workouts designed to highlight each players’ talent and ability on the field.  Defensive Drills will be offered on two fields which will enable a player to work out at their primary position as well as a secondary position, if so desired.  There will also be two Offensive fields allowing players two opportunities to show off their hitting skills.  Included will be live at bats at different stages ranging from tee work as well as soft and front toss on an open field. Softball Talk is a session where a College Coach explains the process, rules, etc., about the recruiting process.  Parents and players can attend this session.

  • Also on Day 1 will be timed running drills, POP time for Catchers, and a Pitching Session for players who listed their primary position as “Pitcher”.

  • Day 2 will be live game situations with College Coaches managing each field's activities and game situations. Participants will be divided into teams by position and each team will be scheduled to play two games.  Games will be ran on 4-5 fields to give each participant full opportunity to show their skills to the attending coaches in a live game environment. All games will have a full complement of umpires and college coaches to provide a managed game environment to make sure all players get the most out of the game times.


Nike Baseball Camp at The Ballpark, directed by Biloxi Shuckers

  • Get ready this summer for an exciting Nike Baseball Camp at Keesler Federal Park in Biloxi, MS, home of the Biloxi Shuckers! The Shuckers are the Double-A affiliate for the Milwaukee Brewers! WayFinder Initiative

  • Wayfinder Initiative’s Summer Innovation Academy is not a traditional recreation camp. It is a structured, future-focused experience designed for students ages 6–16 who are ready to build real skills while exploring what they are capable of. Hosted at Wayfinder’s Innovation Hub in Gulfport, the Academy offers eight themed weeks centered on engineering, robotics, artificial intelligence, environmental innovation, entrepreneurship, creative digital media, and structured esports performance. Students do not rotate through random activities. They choose intentional pathways and work with real tools in a collaborative, mentor-guided environment.
